Have you ever made the wrong choice when buying your curtains? If so, you're not alone! So many people come to us with new curtains to sell because they chose the wrong colour or fabric design for their interior decor.

Alternatively, if you're moving home, and you own high quality designer curtains, The Curtain Exchange offers the perfect opportunity to sell them on and purchase your new curtains from its bespoke and ready-made ranges.

Only the highest quality curtains are sold in our second-hand range - all are interlined and most are designer fabrics. They are carefully inspected before being accepted for re-sale and many are either new, from show houses or interior designer displays, or cancelled orders. With regular stock changes there are a wide range of colours, patterns and sizes to choose from and they can all be taken home to try on our 24-hour approval loan.

If you are interested in selling your curtains please contact your local branch first for information as commission rates vary, but are usually between 40-50%. Do not dry clean your curtains before showing them to us in case we cannot accept them for some reason. If they are suitable, but need to be cleaned, we can arrange for them to be dry-cleaned and will deduct the cost from the proceeds of the sale.

When we have accepted your curtains for sale a price will be agreed. We also take in headboards for re-sale providing they are in excellent condition and have a certificate of fire retardancy on the back. Articles are taken in for a period of six months or less during which time The Curtain Exchange will make every endeavour to sell them through our branches. After six months items are sent to charity if they are not collected. Unfortunately we do not have the space to store items awaiting collection and they should be picked up within two weeks of the expiry date. The ownership of articles deposited with us is confidential.
